I notice what is wrong with a room, a ward, or a meal before I decide whether anyone needs to hear me complain about it.

I care for people by doing something useful: feeding them, preparing the ground, repairing what failed, or making danger cross me first.

Ideal

Protection. A boundary should preserve life and choice, not become another kind of cage.

Bond

Greenward is the name I chose. It binds me to living things, dangerous thresholds, and the people who trust me to decide where the line must hold.

Flaw

I trust preparation more easily than I trust other people’s judgment. When I am afraid, I can mistake protecting someone for having the right to choose for them.
