Ṛṣiśūra is a Monk of Mercy associated with Lantern Hall in Baldur’s Gate. His name — Rishi-shura in the Common tongue — is a Celestial monastic vow-name meaning “seer-warrior” or “heroic sage.”
He is disciplined, bodily aware, restrained, and practical: a man who seeks truth clearly, steps toward suffering with compassion, and has trained himself to decide what his hands become before anger decides for him.
